Benellians marked their territory at the BR Hills

Image
It has been few months since I had a long ride date with my EVA, so the time has come to take it out for a spin. Though a smaller convoy this time, but i would say it was a well formed group ride with better disciplined. Overall it was a tiring day with around 470KM on the odometer and few gigs of memories left on the disk :) Video Memories from the ride Started the journey around 5:45 AM from the Brindavan Motors (Benelli Whitefield showroom) to catch up with more riders on the way. Around six of us gathered at the Kanakpura road exit of Nice road where we head to the first stop for the breakfast. Adieu to Ravi After having breakfast and adieu to Ravi, rest of us continue our journey to the BR Hills. The forest trail section on the way was the best stretch for sure. Lined up for a pose We took enough time to click some memories and to take time out under the shades running away from the scorching sun :) P.C Kiran The ride is even more cheerful when a

Philips Island - Offbeat place from the Melbourne City

Image
Melbourne city has so many places to visit and explore, after spending few days in the city i decided to drive to Philips island. Its around 2-3 hours drive from the city and a perfect getaway to explore the nature and wildlife. We started around 8 AM in relaxed manner as Wild life park opens at 10 AM so we thought of enjoying the drive and scenery on the way. We stopped at the Brighton beach on the way, which has the amazing view of Sea with colorful house shaped boxes spreading around the coast line. This makes a perfect set for Instagram moments :) FYI : The parking is paid by per hour at the beach, so make sure you buy the ticket from the machine and place on the dashboard of your car. We missed the parking sign in excitement of going to the beach which resulted in fine of 80 AUD later on :( We gather infinite number of pictures and videos before we resumed our journey. The bird view from the drone footage looks memorizing :)   We reache

#HowToMelbourne in 1 day

Image
Melbourne city in 1 day ? It sounds like a tough plan considering so many amazing places to see and exciting things to do in the City. Let me give you a hint about an itinerary which can help you in exploring the city. 8 AM Start the day by sipping the cup of coffee at Federation Square along with a sweet pastry (well that's just my choice). The view could be full of tourists or native residents running late for the work, but its worth to spend 30 minutes before you kick start the day. If its a your lucky day, you may see some street performance right next to the Melbourne Visitor Center. 9 AM I hope you are pumped up with the Coffee and sugar rush, so its time to get your feet walking ;) You can spend few minutes at St. Paul Cathedral which is on the opposite side of the road. 10 AM Now the day had a good start with the blessing of almighty, time to get drunk in the color of art i.e. Graffiti. Melbourne artists are notoriously known for painting the

Epic Road trip in a lifetime - Great ocean road

Image
I have been a die hard fans of exploring the places on the wheels, one of the missing trophy was 'Great Ocean Road Trip'. Finally the moment came last week when I was indulged in the experience of a lifetime by driving along the scenic coastal route on the Great Ocean Road. The Great Ocean Road is a 250km stretch along the coast starting from the city of Torquay till Warambool.  If you visit Melbourne, so make sure you don't miss the one of the most visited attraction around the Melbourne. We started the journey around 7 Am in the morning as we wanted to explore this within one day. We had our first stop at the Bells beach which is also known as Surfer's paradise. even though its little early morning and little chilly weather, still lot of surfers were enjoying the gliding through the waves. The beach is not just blessed with amazing scenery and waves , but with free parking space and toilets too ;) We moved further to reach the secon

Australia's While Gold Mine - Yarra Valley (Melbourne)

Image
Melbourne was known for its Gold rush in the old days, but in present its well known for its White Gold (& Red too). If you are dreaming about the liquid gold with alcohol content then you would have guessed it right, yes I am talking about the Wine Fields in Yarra Valley. To experience the same, I was on-board for the one day trip to the Yarra Valley. The tour bus picked me around 9:30 AM from the St Paul Cathedral near the Federation Square. There were around 20 odd number of people, even being on a weekday. The tour instructor was quite funny and made sure everyone felt like home. It took around 45-60 minutes to reach the first winery stop - 'Punt Road'. We were given the first few tips about the wine tasting, surely it sounded much better than the history classes back in the school days. We were given the first instruction to have a small sip and try to swallow without keeping in the mouth as there are more taste receptors in the back of the throat. You need
