Image
Bali island is blessed with many tourists attractions and many of attractions are spread around the island. It is very obvious that lot of tourists will be travelling around to gather the memories around the famous places, considering narrow roads and lot of tourists vehicle create traffic jams.  One of the best way to escape the traffic and parking problem is to hire a two wheeler and scoot around the island :) I rented a 200CC Automatic Scooter (Yamaha N-Max) in 2,00,000 IDR (around 900RS) for 2 days. I booked my Villa at Sanur beach and I was happy that i made a right choice as it had best facilities and lively neighborhood nearby to eat and roam around. Not to mentioned the fact that, it was right next to the beach :) It took around 40 minutes from Sanur to the Garuda Park. I just followed the Google Map on my Indian Phone equipped with local SIM Card which I collected at Airport at just Rs.450. You can book online at best prize here: https://www.klook...

Benellians marked their territory at the BR Hills

Image
It has been few months since I had a long ride date with my EVA, so the time has come to take it out for a spin. Though a smaller convoy this time, but i would say it was a well formed group ride with better disciplined. Overall it was a tiring day with around 470KM on the odometer and few gigs of memories left on the disk :) Video Memories from the ride Started the journey around 5:45 AM from the Brindavan Motors (Benelli Whitefield showroom) to catch up with more riders on the way. Around six of us gathered at the Kanakpura road exit of Nice road where we head to the first stop for the breakfast. Adieu to Ravi After having breakfast and adieu to Ravi, rest of us continue our journey to the BR Hills. The forest trail section on the way was the best stretch for sure. Lined up for a pose We took enough time to click some memories and to take time out under the shades running away from the scorching sun :) P.C Kiran The ride is even more cheerful when a ...

Philips Island - Offbeat place from the Melbourne City

Image
Melbourne city has so many places to visit and explore, after spending few days in the city i decided to drive to Philips island. Its around 2-3 hours drive from the city and a perfect getaway to explore the nature and wildlife. We started around 8 AM in relaxed manner as Wild life park opens at 10 AM so we thought of enjoying the drive and scenery on the way. We stopped at the Brighton beach on the way, which has the amazing view of Sea with colorful house shaped boxes spreading around the coast line. This makes a perfect set for Instagram moments :) FYI : The parking is paid by per hour at the beach, so make sure you buy the ticket from the machine and place on the dashboard of your car. We missed the parking sign in excitement of going to the beach which resulted in fine of 80 AUD later on :( We gather infinite number of pictures and videos before we resumed our journey. The bird view from the drone footage looks memorizing :)   We re...

#HowToMelbourne in 1 day

Image
Melbourne city in 1 day ? It sounds like a tough plan considering so many amazing places to see and exciting things to do in the City. Let me give you a hint about an itinerary which can help you in exploring the city. 8 AM Start the day by sipping the cup of coffee at Federation Square along with a sweet pastry (well that's just my choice). The view could be full of tourists or native residents running late for the work, but its worth to spend 30 minutes before you kick start the day. If its a your lucky day, you may see some street performance right next to the Melbourne Visitor Center. 9 AM I hope you are pumped up with the Coffee and sugar rush, so its time to get your feet walking ;) You can spend few minutes at St. Paul Cathedral which is on the opposite side of the road. 10 AM Now the day had a good start with the blessing of almighty, time to get drunk in the color of art i.e. Graffiti. Melbourne artists are notoriously known for painting the ...
