Monsoon Ride to Sakleshpur / Bangalore Benellians / Saaluguda resort

Image
Here are few memories from last week #MonsoonRide  A teaser video to start with: Bangalore Benellians rode to the greenery of outskirts of Sakleshpur to have a 1-night outing away from the concrete jungle.  Accompanied by a Gypsy and a Monster. Thanks to all the riders who joined and organizers who planned/executed the ride brilliantly :) Anup +1, Dilip, Manoj, Mario +1, Monty, Shiva, Sairam, Soumyajit, Vishwas. The ride started from Neelmangla Toll Gate, with smoky exhausts and foggy air. Courtesy to Dipin's 4X4, few of the riders planned a relaxed ride with all luggage safely tucked in the pickup truck. We had a volunteer to accompany the luggage- Monty, only because his 600i was still in garage :D The first stop was to fill up the Gas-for bike and bikers. Lesson 1: Never play with food ;)    We didn't wait too long to find the opportunity to capture the real shades of Monsoon season.  The Monsoon has its first s...

xBhp 16th Anniversary [Bangalore Edition] [Bangalore Benellians]

Image
Hi there, I have been following and contributing to xBHP forum for many years, So I would definitely wouldn't miss the 16th Aniversary celebration:). Thanks to passionate guys like SANDEEP GUJJAR who established the world's largest Biking Communities way before Facebook/Twitter fever started. I was distracted as was controlling my Drone and cake was cut into pieces already :D Though the ride was not planned for Bangalore edition till last week, to my surprise as Bangalore has lot of Biking communities who follow the same passion as xBHP. In fact, I emailed to xBHP as a request to organize a ride for Bangalore edition, sad true but I didn't get any response (I assume editors may be busy with a lasrge volume of email). The good news came just 2 days back when I came to know that Bangalore ride has been finalized. On a lazy Sunday Morning, 100+ bikers joined a short ride towards Nandi Hills and cake cutting ceremony. Bangalore Benellian too made their pre...

#WhyITravel

I started my travel experiences with South Korea as first country in 2010, by 2019 I have visited 45+ cities and 14 countries around the world. I have explored local culture & heritage, delicious cuisines, made friends across the word, tried many adventurous sports and visited many landmarks. #RickyDiaries Till now I was busy enjoying myself without any thoughts about local ecosystem or environment, as its a known fact that Tourists brings money into a beautiful city but leaves a lot of trash which may cause imbalance in the environment. This time I got a chance to participate in a CSR activity organized by the 'Tourism Authority of Thailand', where we volunteered to plant mangrove plants near the river bed area. This will help to control the water to avoid flood in the village area and will make the forest area greener and healthier. The place is also known as Samut Sakhon, which is around 1.5 hours away from the Bangkok City. After an...

Best 1 Day Road trips from Las Vegas / Vegas on Wheels

Image
What to do in Las Vegas? : When it comes to Las Vegas, most of the time we only 2 things flash into our mind : Gambling in Casinos and roaming around the Las Vegas Strip. This time I decided to break the normal routine and started exploring nearby sightseeing places on my hot wheels. I picked up the Ford Mustang Convertible from Airport itself and was quite happy to receive my favorite color within few minutes, all the thanks to Avis Staff. I would suggest to book a convertible or sportster as its #VegasBaby Day 0 : Las Vegas Strip: You have to spent a day and night at Las Vegas Strip to enjoy the casinos, open bars or try your hands with your luck :) One of casino which is getting attention now days is Venetian Casino resort, and it's for well know Venice theme. Las Vegas Strip Las Vegas Strip I stayed at Hooters for few reasons apart from the beautiful waitress :), it had free Wifi, Free Parking and 25$ food voucher which can be used thr...
