Phuket Wild Fantasy : Phi Phi Island and Maya Bay

Image
The trip to Phuket is incomplete without having a day out at Phi Phi island, Maya Bay, and Blue Lagoon :) The best time to visit Maya Bay is between November and April during the high season when seas are calm and access to the bay is easy.  Here is a small video of my trip : I would suggest not to purchase this tour from hotel or airport as it's too expensive. You can save money by booking the trip online by signing up here: https://www.klook.com/invite/Q161Z It may cost around 40USD for the package which includes: -Hotel Pickup from main locations -Boat Transfer -Life jacket -Snorkeling Equipment (not all tours have) -Lunch (veg and non-veg options with unlimited cola/water) -fruits as a snack at the end o the tour There are two options when you book a package: -Speed Boat transfer -Big Boat transfer The first option can be bumpy sometimes because of the rough sea, the advantage is that it takes less time. The other option...

A short bike ride to #BigBuddha #Phuket #Thailand

Image
If you guys like to ride motorbikes and planning to visit Phuket soon, then I would suggest planning a half day out of your schedule for a must visit to the #BigBuddha. It's around 25KM from the famous Patong beach near the Mangla road a.k.a Walking street of Phuket. You can rely on the Google map with a local SIM card, which hardly cost few dollars and can be book online. The roads are well maintained for most of the stretch but still, i would suggest only experienced riders to go by the 2 wheelers. The roads have some unexpected ups and down which needs a perfect timing on the gear shifting unless you rent an automatic vehicle. You can get the automatic scooters very easily in Phuket, almost at each shop/beach or restaurants. The rent may start around 250-350THB for the 150CC, whereas they may charge 350-500THB for 200CC.  If you are willing to rent a manual motorbike, it may rent as much as 1500THB+ for 600 or 800CC. You may have to be little patie...

Breakfast ride to DD hills a.k.a Devarayana Durga Hills.

Image
Most of us keep waiting for the weekend for the obvious reason, not to sleep late but rather get up early and suit up for the next ride ;) This time around 30 of us embark on the new destination of DD hills a.k.a Devarayana Durga Hills. Thanks to the Team United ride and Skanda motors for organizing this ride. Usually the ride is open for the Mojo owners but this time they invited all the fans from biker brotherhood family. The squad included bikes like Mahindara Mojo, Benelli 302R , Benelli TNT600i, Yamaha R15 and R3, Royal Enfield,  KTM Duke 200 and RC390,            The journey started from the Skanda Motors Rajajinagar where we gathered up around 6 AM in the morning. The weather was clean as opposite to the heavy downpour from the last night. We started the ride after getting to know each other and clicking few moments to be cherished later. The ride to DD hills is around 70KM which include some of the highways and twisty r...

Road trip: Bangalore to Hyderabad | Ramoji Film City | Char Minar | Hussain Sagar Lake

Image
If you are an addict for the road trips, then you can't miss the long drive from Bangalore to Hyderabad. No doubt it's one of the best highway in India, with very few humps and villages on the way, it makes the use of Cruise control an useful feature. Here are the glimpse of my trip in below video: Being a heavy sleeper, it's a tough call for me to respond to the alarm in the early morning. This time, it was a different scenario,  i got up before the alarm as couldn't contain the excitement of being on the road. I left at 5:45AM from the Bangalore and could touched the highway within an hour.  The weather was pleasant , but it started drizzling soon. All the hard work of washing and waxing my #NighFurry before the trip wasn't appreciated by the Rain God :(            First stop after 200 KM for a quick bite To make sure we reached Hyd around lunch time, we just took two small breaks. Its approximately 600 KM from Bangal...

Exploring the unseen Thailand - through Food, Culture, Heritage & sports

Usually when it comes to visiting the #landOfSmile, mostly people go to Bangkok,Phuket,Krabi and Pattaya. But there is more to the Thailand than just tourist places, we were very lucky to visit the Buriram where we saw the Heritage, Cultural,Food and sports side of the Thailand. Here are some of moments in my video : Heritage: We visited the Hindu temples and sites in buriram, which includes Prasat Hin Phanom Rung & Prasat Hin Mueang Tam. This temple is located around 100KM from the buriram airport and can be reachable by the taxi or private vehicle as the best way. The temple is dedicated to the Lord Shiva and located on the top of extinct volcano. You can buy the ticket on the spot, which cost just around 200THB. We were amazed to see lot of Hindu devotees from Thailand were chanting and dancing as a respect to the Lord shiva. Being Hindu myself, i felt i am in some part of India. Note : As it's a religious place, so it's suggested to wear appropriate clo...

#CityOfLove #CityOfLight #Paris #ParisJeTaime #GoodFrance

The one city which always have been pending in my bucketList - Paris. Finally the day had come to see the dream coming true when i was about to land in the #CityOfLove Day 1: It was a long flight , approx 9 hours from bangalore to paris but a comfortable one. Thanks to the #onTimeArrival #YummyFood #BetterInfortainment provided by the #AirFrance. We landed around 8 am and it took approx 40 minutes to finish the immigration and baggage collection. Because of the unfortunate terrorist attacks in france, the immigration officers are more cautious and alert. They may ask you all the details- including hotel stay, reason of visit, places to see for tourist visa, so be prepare with all documents and calmly answer all queries. There is a free WIFI at paris airport, we just quickly check emails and made sure we instagram first post from Paris ;) The taxis are quite costly in Paris, it charges around 52 Euros from airport to our hotel in the Bois Colombes. There is a metro...

The best place to see in Pattaya - Nong Nooch Garden (Pattaya) #Thailand

Pattaya is one of the best tourist place in Thailand to enjoy the beer beaches, but there is more to it.... There are a lot of other sightseeing places that can be seen in and around the city. One of the most top-rated attraction is "Nong Nooch garden", which is in the north part of the city around 30mins drive from the Walking Street. Its spread in 500 acres and you can easily spend half day to see all the greenery along with some man-made concrete animals. You can also enjoy the Elephant show and musical performances within the garden. The entry cost around 800THB, but if you book online you can save a lot of money. I booked through "hotels2thailand.com" and its prize was almost half. You can also see other websites like TripAdvisor or KLook.com, but I found first was cheaper than all. Just to make sure you buy the ticket which includes performances and elephant show, you can skip the ticket which includes lunch buffet as there are plenty of lunch op...
